I actually like the way it looks with the vinyl on for that color... everything else is lookin great though!

How do you like the DNX5120? Thats the same unit I have in my tC1 and I really love it.

mospeedtc, how is the fitting with this kit? I always hear how the metra kit usually has gaps.

they looks almost the same-except for the part that bolts in, so I'm just wondering if that makes a different in fitting/avoiding gaps

I figured and have already gotten mixed reactions from friends about the vinyl removal. Guess its one of those personal taste kinda things

BATMAN- I like the unit, now that I understand it a little more. I still liked my Alpine from my first gen better but this one has NAV so cant argue

JUSTIN- Its not perfect but seems pretty damn close. Im about 90% satified with the fitment and all.

Just caught this thread, congrats on the new tC Mo. Vinyl removal is pretty personal, it looks great on my white xB but looked horrible on the two-tone w/ silver top. Hope you're happy with it because to order replacement vinyl precut is rediculous, would have ran me about $120 for all four doors on the box.

Finished my first attempt at building a subwoofer enclosure and am kinda "Meh" about the finished results. I have enought wood for a 2nd go at it but I'll rock this one until I feel like redoing it. Sound Amazing though. I'll post pics later.

Thats how I felt when I did it. Cement is a Dull=ish color so dulled out looking tails would play along with it

If I hate them later nothing a wetsand and buffing wont restore

With mad skillz!!!

Wet sand with 1000grit and then some Matte finish clear coat did the trick.
