I just recently sold my old pos (03 Eclipse Spyder GS) and got this RS 8.0 tC. I love everything about this car. Not really looking to do any "major" upgrades to it. Just some cosmetic things here and there.
This is my DD and also my parents "weekend" car It's a lot quicker than my Eclipse and well built as well I don't have many pictures of the tC yet, but here are a few I took during my break time between college classes.

Hey guys, I am looking to upgrading to HIDs, but am afraid of getting my warranty canceled. Can anyone tell me if hids will void my warranty or no? I do not have a warranty manual yet, still waiting for the scion dealer to get it in along with my car mats lol

 

I don't believe so, I ran the idea of installing HID's on my tC to the Sales Rep and he mentioned that a lot of his other clients were thinking the same thing and didn't say it voided the warranty.
He specifically said a CAI doesn't void it, so I doubt HID's would. You could always install the stock lights before taking the car in.

 

warranty is not canceled or voided... claims are just denied. if you run a HID set up and mess up for transmision they have nothing to do with each other, so you can get your transm fixed under warranty if they cant prove the HID's caused the damage. If you blow up your fuse box after HID's are installed and they can prove you fuse box blew up because of the HIDs then the warranty on your fuse box might/can be denied (if they prove it) the whole rest of the car is still covered.

 

a CAI might void a warranty if proven... your messing with the MAF, and altering the A/F mix. If you hit a puddle and hydrolock your engine then run crying to the dealer for repairs and they prove your engine messed up because of your CAI Trust Me you warranty will be denied.
