For the RPF1's a +45mm won't clear the brakes (unless you have the BBK kit), +38mm will be flush, and anything lower than that will be poking out.

The link Mamba posted should teach you more about offsets. But to sum it up, a higher offset sits closer. Some rim styles won't clear even if they're the same size as others. I am very well informed on RPF1's and CR Kai's because they're the rims I want. If you want to get a good idea of what a low offset rim looks like, look at jtk2's thread. I believe he's running +18mm on a 10" rim. He's really poking.

ok thanks guys i was all kinda bummed cuz i really want them. would i need the spacers i was just thinking of rolling the fenders. would i need the spacers? can someone post 1stones thread so i can look at his rims?

Yea, he used the tires that were proper for that rim size. You can stretch a 225 on a 9.5" rim (My friend did it on his Works). Did you figure out the offset? The tire doesn't matter as much as the offset.

allow me to thread jack just for a quick sec while i have some expertise on here...
if enkei RP03's 18 x 9.5 + 38 would be "flush"
would the 18 x 9 + 40 be flush as well?
reason i ask is because the 9.5 is 21.0 lbs and the 9 is 18.3 lbs - every pound counts!
