if enkei RP03's 18 x 9.5 + 38 would be "flush"
would the 18 x 9 + 40 be flush as well?

reason i ask is because the 9.5 is 21.0 lbs and the 9 is 18.3 lbs - every pound counts!
The higher the offset = less poke. That's 2 mm, probably not gonna make a difference.

Wheel width needs to be taken into account as well.

IMO I think the 9.5 + 38 would look more flush over the 9 +40. You actually could do a lower offset also like a +20 look even better!

I agree! Emo1127 is tucking 18x10 + 20 and is lower than me. Albeit he is on the stretched stock tires.

They would be close. go for the lighter weight size. Mine are below 19lbs each, I love how the car performs with them.
18x9.5" +45 does fit. 1stOne had rim flex that hit his TRD BBK calipers just slightly. That was why he installed spacers. So if you have stock brakes, no worries. Plus 1stOne tracks his car, the average guy would not flex those wheels like he does. Check out his vids, he punishes that car cornering.

1stOne said that if he would've had the stock brakes, the rims would NOT have cleared.

Do you have the wheels on hand? If so, just jack up your car and mount a wheel to check caliper clearance up front. Sounds like me n you are in the same boat.

After thinking bout it U should have no caliper clearance issue....but I don't knw much, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I think the only issue is wheels may be poking. Guess you'll see Friday!
