It is probably a little early for this, but I wanted to start a thread to get the word out about this event to Gen2 owners who may not use the Scikotics forum. That site is painfully ancient, and I haven’t been on it for months...

Apparently, people came from as far as California. In the video you can see a lot of non-Arkansas plates. I did not go last year because I did not own a Scion, or have any idea events like this existed!

So, what is it? It is an entire week or hanging with fellow Scion enthusiast in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Last year there were over 20 vendors/sponsors on site. So far only 1 sponsor has signed up for this year (Killerglass) but there is still 5 months to go. The date is June 2012 with the exact days still TBA.

A week seems like a bit much to me, but Friday thru Sunday I will be there. And, If any of you guys who have helped me with my build need a place to bunk and want to come; I live 1 ½ hours away from Eureka Springs and have a queen size Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme in my guest room, that you are more than welcome too! First come first serve, but I can be swayed with gifts…. : P

i havent been to this one specifically...

but its the same thing as any car meet&greet (not car show)...so most likely no competitions. just have fun and enjoy what the club provides (activities/vendors/etc)

SE should be getting some kind of event organized later this year as well. so those in the SoCal look out for it

 

Not all of us are so privlaged as to live in SoCal where a typical Tuesday night "meet and greet" is the size of any other state in the unions' annual car show

But you are right, from what I understand, there is no "official" competitions.
So I should not make the bed for you Justin? Got it...lol
