Hahahaha yea I love that forum. I guess that guy was just on the wrong foot but whatever's. anyways my car didn't come with fogs I bought them from fast scions.com I installed them myself. But I added the hids brother. I doubt they would sell them with them in hahaha if u have any questions I can walk u step by step on how to install it supperrrrrr easy. Btw I spoke with the guy n he said it only had the Trd exhaust!! But since not that many ppl redline it this just sounded amazing hahaha. I'm trying to buy my Greddy evo3 trust me the 88db they talk about isn't right it's louder and deeper. If u have questions pm me n ill give u my number so I can help

Ya ur right about no body hitting the rev limiter when they do exhaust videos. It's quite annoying. I hate trying to get a feel exhaust by listening to YouTube. If u have a crappy camera the audio will be distorted and alot of other things come into play. I watched this one video of a Megan racing drift spec catback and it sounded like the kid did rev it past 2k lmao. I'm thinking to myself now how is that supposed to make me want to get one I can't even hear it. Lol anyways. Thanks for offering help with the fog install. I installed foglights in my last vehicle a 99 civic si it was pretty simple. I'm just nervous about some things with it being a brand new car. I'll def hit u up for some install tips.

For exhaust I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a custom axle back. For three reasons
1. Cheaper
2. Less restriction (less bends ) same or slightly bigger pipe diameter.
3. Any choice of muffler.

Basically I'm going to have the exhaust shop in my town remove the axle back portion of the exhaust hopefully they can take a flange that will bolt up to the OEM exhaust and bend the pipe to run straight back to where my canister style muffler will sit.

I like greddy evo exhaust but it seems like all the bends in the exhaust would hurt the exhaust flow. And besides that I just want the freedom to choose my own muffler not have to settle.

plug in a set of headphones into your computer when you listen to the youtube vids. you will hear so much more sounds that you are missing via speakers (especially if your speakers are as old as mine). TRD exhaust sounds boss with the dezod header. I am definitely getting that setup. I also do not want to be obnoxiously loud. Megan racing and tsudo catbacks are the nicest if you want to be loud. Also along the lines of the TRD, the descendant exhaust is probably the best sounding. It's just too hard to find now that they stopped selling them

Yeah I understand. Btw the amazing thing about our tc is that everything is pre wired. So it's super easy man. Plus taking out the radio was easiest thing ever lol. I wish I knew good muffler shops so they can help with a custom exhaust. But I do love the deep sound that Greddy offers. I wouldn't mind calling them n see if they sell their cat backs mid pipe alone n get the Greddy muffler

Hey man u mentioned it was easy to pull the HU. Does the HU have aux connectors in the back? Just wondering if it was possible to connect another amp. Uk usually u have to buy a aftetmarket HU to connect an amp. And since our factory sound systems hve a amp already I was wondering mg if the addition of another was possible

So when ever I get my taxes back I plan on doing a full write up on the RaceLand coilovers I plan to purchase. I saw one person said they were going to but I still plan on doing a before and after picture and pictures for the full install. And a review I read her on SL where some people wanted some customer reviews before they made a purchase.

So i have a question:
Should I do a write up on its own seperate thread or in this build thread?

Im kinda leaning toward doing it in its own thread so it will be searchable.
And so my build thread doesnt get too cluttered.

just lookin for some opinions......
