What's the lowest APR I can get for buying a tC?

When my dad helped me get my 2010 tC the dealer said the lowest they could give us was 6% on a Scion. They said if we bought a Toyota we could get any of them for 0%. They said 6% on a Scion was the lowest they could give anyone, not sure what my dads credit score was though.

^^much lower than 3.14%? even the 2.7% that tankedpilot posted is less than $2 per month difference... why go through the hassle of trying to get approved at a bank and having all the extra paperwork for such a small difference?

around here interest rates at banks have been 2.25% on car loans. id kill to have that rate on my tc. dealership lowest they were gonna give me (june2007) was 7.6 so i went to a credit union and got one for 5.25...i got screwed cuz rates were high then even with a high credit rating.

it also doesnt help when you are only putting down $2k on a $22k car. leaves a lot of room that has the potential to not be paid back.
Ted is right though, the difference of 2% to 3% is pennies a day when you do out the math. Its cheaper than sponsoring a child in africa haha
