What's your fuel mileage.
Lately I've noticed that my mileage is no where near what it was in past cars, but don't want to blame the car yet if it's just me.
I'm filling with 87 octane and engine fluids were swapped out for Amsoil 0W20 full synthetic at 2200kms (currently has about 6800kms on the odometer). I average about 450kms to a tank, or about 9-9.5L/100kms according to the consumption meter in the car.
So my question is what fuel mileage do you get?
Its probably important to note that about 60-70% of my driving is in town and its manual transmission.
Thanks!

That sounds about right. I get 28 to 30mpg 90% highway. I've had tanks in the low 20's and once got 31.5. This is in a tC1 but I don't see there being a huge difference in gas milage(especially in the city).

still you can't compare tc1 to tc2. that isn't the point of op's question.lol

I can drive aggressive all day long in the city and my mpg guage ends up in the 25.2-25.7 range.
Great compared to a turbo car lol
I'm happy with it, especially since I know I can get 30-32 mpg if I really need to.

I have about 1100 miles on the car. I've been watching the MPG closely. My driving is back roads with a little city and highway here and there. I have a stick shift. My driving is what I would call aggressive, but not crazy. I drive it like a sports car, but I don't let the revs get over about 5k and I generally drive 60mph or less. That said, here are my tanks:
25.7
25.3
25.6
25.7 (so far)
25.7
25.3
25.6
25.7 (so far)

Currently mine is sitting at 28.8 mpg. It was at 29.0, but admittedly my driving has been becoming more aggressive.
About 65% hwy and 35% city.
I haven't reset it since I've owned the car and I'm at about 3500 miles.
Using the ECO light (auto yippeeee) helps a lot I think because I'm always conscious of that little thing.

In both cars the high displacement and long stroke of the engine makes it easy to dump lots of fuel(and get lots of torque) at low rpms. If pushed semi hard gas mileage plummets so fuel economy figures as low as 20 mpg(11.76 liters/100 km) are not uncommon.

Didn't expect this many responses! Thanks everyone!
Just converted my last tank and it was 24.5mpg. I was driving a little more aggressive this last week as I just got my cat-back installed and love the sound, so that's part of it.
I do hope it improves though. My SiR got 28-32mpg and my V6 MX6 which was very highly modded got 25-28mpg. This seems a little low for a brand new car.

Ethanol is a sob. Many larger gas burning trucks felt the burn of ethanol when it changed over. Save yourself the extra 30cents/gal, theres enough detergents to keep your car clean with 87 octane. Or just get your gas at a quick trip, they gauruntee your engine with their gas...

I don't buy the eco light being the factor because the sticks don't have one and they get the same or better mpg.
As far a premium, I would not run it. Why pay more for lower octane gas? There seem to be many people who think that they will go faster or father on premium, totally not true. Premium is higer octane, which means is is less volatile. This is necessary to prevent detonation in high compression engines, but totally useless on the tC (unless you add a turbo or a blower). And if your looking for the "clean factor", I think the 87 is plenty clean.
