White tC with some new pics!
So I've had my tC since August 2013 and tonights as good as any to start a build thread!!!
Brand New! Just drove her home and immediately threw the rack on from my old accord.
Most Recent Photo!
Old Accord in her prime! if you're wondering
So right off the bat too I wanted to see what plasti dipping the front would look like and I had some electrical tape soooo..... haha also window visors, HID's and ebay Ez lip
Then I got worried about leaving marks on my new tC like it did to my Accord so I sold the roof rack....
HID DOWN!!! Noooo some how my HID back out and decided to melt its way into my headlight.... Fun Fact! New headlights aren't cheap....
SPRING 2014 Sooo the EZ lip didn't make it... But I think the tein S techs make up for it!!! Also side note I got a job at a dealership so having access to lifts, air tools, and pretty much any tool is AWESOME! Dropped her in 45 min...
+ a discount on TRD parts
Also some slight camber (oh I can also do my own alignments... saving $$$)
Well I live here in beautiful South Dakota where it doesn't know weather its spring, winter, or summer so with a week of 40 degree days I got at that interior!!!
Started with 4+ hours of labor hand stitching this nifty little shift boot!!!
Next I decided since I had a lot of extra fabric to do my door panels!!! I've never done upholstery before and it turned out pretty good!!!
Next up some trim work! I wanted white but I didn't want to do the whole dash because I think that thats too much... So I just plasti dipped the steering wheel and gauge cluster bits then threw in some carbon! Also acquired fogs!!!
MMMMmmmm Spacers! 15mm front 25mm rear! (again so awesome to have a shop to do the work!)
So that brings us to now! I just smoked the tails and installed the Integra type-R front lip and its crazy with just a few cuts here and there it fits end to end on our tC's! Also was looking into an axle back exhaust and had the tC up on the lift and noticed we have a resonator, an in line muffler and an axle back muffler... So for $50 I had a shop cut my pipe off at the first bend before the axle back and remove that piping and muffler and then had them straight it out the back! Then later I welded on a ram 1500 tip haha but for $50 this thing sound pretty damn mean when you're on it and semi quiet when your not! It also has more of a race sound not the deep fart can noise! Ill make a video here soon to show you all!
I have a little Facebook page called SOO DAK! where I do photograph and video work (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Soo-D...2368199279718#) if anyones interested! Anyways I've been doing a lot of car shoots lately and finally felt good to shoot my own car! haha

Yeah, looks good man. Sad you took your rack off...I've had mine on for almost a year. Not worried about marks because I'll never take it off or trade the car lol.
But seriously...looks good.

The exhaust trick is amazing... haha people always ask what I'm running or think its just straight up straight pipped. I love the sound! And I'm thinking about turbo next winter and Id just straight pipe her if i did that so an exhaust would be a wast of turbo $$$

ya it looks clean! I think I'm going to spray mine. I don't want it to be too dark and attract cops!!

Hey man, I'm really interested on your roof rack setup, I've had my bike for a while and I am a total noob with with roof racks. I've seen a few with crappy looking setups, but yours is really clean looking. Could you elaborate on the parts etc? If you dont mind..

First off I had a yakima rack so if you go to they're site and go to "fit my vehicle" and follow the steps it'll get you the exact set up for our tC! then when you get it its a little confusing at first but there are basically two adjustment one for with between the towers and the other is the clip length from the tower to your door sill! I was crazy lost at first but once its in front of you its quite easy to under stand and adjust!
