Default CUSCO Strut Tower Bar - Final Protoype!

I visited the guys over at CUSCO today because they are testing their NEW STRUT TOWER BAR for the Scion tC2!!!

The CUSCO strut tower bar is designed with layers that allow their products to be high quality and still very lightweight. Just with all of their products, it is designed, engineered, and imported straight from Japan.

This product is still under production, but should be available for sale within the next few months!

And now...the sneak peak pictures...

This is only the first of many high quality products CUSCO can design for out tC2, but they must see a good market for our car first. So please help promote CUSCO in the tC2 world and they can design us more suspension parts, like a rear tower strut bar, sway bars, and possibly even COILOVERS!

Mike from World Racing was there when I was there picking up one of the few CUSCO tC1 coilover kits and if the market is good for the tC2 they might look into it for the tC2.

Update from the guys @ CUSCO

Just to clarify, the strut bar will be a Type-OS (oval shaft) and plan on being available at the end of July. Im assuming that the MSRP will be set at $200.

Check out the photo i attached in regards to the strut bar construction. (photo courtesy of William Lee Night-Import.com) As you can see on one of the cut-away bars, this type of design and emphasis on lightweight/stress rigidity is what sets us apart from every other strut bar manufacturer. The brackets at the ends are extensively tested to withstand extreme chassis flex as well.
Although it is not much of a good example, there were a few vehicles that had CUSCO strut bars installed and were in a side impact car accident. These cars were completely demolished in the impact areas, but the strut structure still remained intact, almost untouched. Again, this isnt a good example since the objective of the strut bars isnt to protect the chassis when in an accident, but it shows how rigid they are and how frail vehicle chassis really are.

install shouldnt be too hard. the only reason why they had to take apart the whole thing was to get pictures, check for fitment, and get all of the measurements

not sure how much, just r&d right now. i will see if i can find out an estimate.

Front & Rear Strut Tower bars are definitely on my upgrade list. Haven't decided who I'm going with though.

MightyP, they took photos of my rear (okay that sounds weird)

but yea, hopefully they can use that towards the design of a rear strut tower bar

..for the front, CUSCO is really good, I didn't get to test drive it yet, but I like the look/design of it way better than the TRD bar
