but IMO, adjustables are not as good just because its adjustable. meaning that the setting that it is adjusted might move (while driving) and thus wont give u as much rigidity. with a solid bar, it will for sure not move (because it cant, since its solid). also....why make it adjustable? if its designed for the tC2 then it should be the size of the tC2...i highly doubt there will be multiple tC2s that have different widths. adjustable to me seems more like...."okay we made a strut bar...lets make it adjustable so we can sell the same one to different car models" which would mean that their R&D of the adjustable strut bar on specific car may be minimal, if anything

...with that said, i like tanabe, they are a good brand. but solid>adjustable struts any day of the week for me
I'm not saying Cusco's isn't a good product. I'm saying, all around, 2 point strut tower braces have similar ridgidity. Solid is good, but that would mean the TRD Strut Tower Brace is better than the Cusco since the Cusco has hinges, which, in my opinion, isn't true.

Everything moves in your car. Nothing can stop that. Even with the with Cusco, the struts will move independently under load, which is why alignments are necessary. Even with a triangulated strut tower brace, things will move. However, it will move less.

I say adjustable is nice only because if you're not on the track every week, like myself (never), then a rough ride isn't necessary, and often unpleasant.

edit: I'm probably wrong, but I thought the Cusco bar uses hollow material, as well.

just checked the tanabe website and the spring rates for their coilovers are extremely low which is either a typo or this is purely a street coilover for comfort.
