From what i understand, the front strut wasn't as much of a priority for TB Performance as the others for a couple reasons. It's already available from other companies and their research indicated the front brace wasn't going to make as big a difference since the front is already stiff for the tC2.

Please forgive me if I misunderstood.

Agreed on all accounts...the front strut tower brace is not going to see the gains expected due to scion having a similar brace tied to the firewall. The brace would be almost soley cosmetic with no noticeable difference(mazdas are equipped with the same style and our strut bars were discontinued early on for the same reason...we used an accelerometer to calculate the difference in g forces prior to traction loss with no change shown) oem does a good job making the brace incorporated into the unibody of the car.

GOOD NEWS FOR TRUNK BRACE BUYERS! I have a few Trunk braces on hand ready to go and I will be selling them for 50 dollars SHIPPED!

There is a catch however(isnt that always the case! but this time its not a big deal!) The process for rust prevention underneath the paint in minor spots on the bars is rough...The paint is fine on these it just has a rougher feel to the bars...it is however only located on the bottom of the brace and is NOT VISIBLE, it is just the texture. The reason for the discount is that I take quality control very seriously and cant sell a brace that isnt PERFECT. I tend to stay up at night meticulously making sure each brace is pristine. To most companies standards these would be fine but I worry too much and figure someone having a rough time but wanting to modify their car still could get a something! Also who knows maybe one of the critics will buy one instead of hypothesizing and speculating! Anywho just thought Id let you all know!

Also Ted at Wellesley Scion and I have been working on a new MODULAR brace for you guys and gals out there and it should be ready here in a month or so! fully adjustable C pillar Brace and a fully adjustable Z mount brace!(pics to come!)

Again id like to thank you all for your support and ideas! I have been having a blast working with you all and am expanding into more sections of the market! I cant stress how amazing you all are and willing you are to embrace a new vendor!...now buy my braces!(lol)

Few quick quesions for ya-

Is this Trunk Brace the one that is being redesigned, or is that the X Brace?

Is it possible to get a picture of the trouble spots? Or are they not visable

Also, I know the C Pillar Brace is the one that goes over the X Brace, But what's a Z mount brace?

I don't know first hand but what I can tell you're doing great things for us TC2 owners, thanks alot!

This trunk brace does not need a redesign. It was the X-Brace that needed the redesign, BUT, after some work, it was decided to not be produced. The modular Z brace that Danny mentioned will be the replacement of the X-Brace.

Not to ask too many questions, but what are the differences between the x brace and the z brace? Does one have more support than the other?

Also, once the Z brace is released, will the X brace no longer be sold?
