Default TB Performance X-Brace 75 dollars each!

This is the answer to chassis rigidity. If you are serious about making your Scion handle then this is your ONLY option. No other company can even offer a piece like this let alone even come close to our price. This X-Brace is sure to make you grin every corner you dive into. Watch as EVERY other car on the road is staring at this cacophony of 1/2' MIG welded steel. By trans-versing each side of the vehicle you are making the chassis unable to flex, which in turn makes the car a road magnet. At the light weight of only 2 lbs there is no finer piece you can add to your ride! If you track, autocross, or run the canyons don't settle for anything less than the TB Performance Products X-Brace.

Yes sir they WORK TOGETHER! Which makes it even better! Ill sift through the pictures and find one with a top mount in it! It mounts to the Bolt straight above the shock tower :D

This one is a little too extreme for me at the moment. But the brace that goes in the spare tire compartment would work. And also maybe like a solid flooring for the spare tire for those who want to take there spare out and don't want to have large whole in there trunk?.. Just some ideas..

Well that is your opinion but we disagree this is possibly the best and most solid design we have made. also those with the rear trunk brace...this works with it! You simply put the trunk brace over the x brace mounting tabs! You don't have to have a trunk brace but the affect of both is staggering!

I don't have the need for one of these but it looks very clean and it looks like there is a lot of room left for putting things in the trunk. Nice job.

what your doing for the TC2/SCION community is commendable and im not trying to put you on blast BUT i have to call it like i see it!!!

when i clicked on link i expected to see rear seat GONE and a huge bar in its place?
maybe someone with a bit more knowledge than me can set me straight.....

I just figure an x-brace would have to be located at or near the rear strut towers, right? The rear seats in this car are far enough in front of the rear struts to make removing them not necessary.

@Rockland: You're right that having the X bigger and higher up on the upper frame will give the bars better leverage and, thus, keep the frame stiffer. However, the biggest gains are simply by tying the strut towers into the upper frame like they did. In my opinion, the marginal loss of rigidity is more than made up for by keeping the back seat and trunk space.

@fun173: It takes up very little trunk space.

@errol: The seat is tilted back a little, but not all the way. I don't think the brace interferes at all with moving the rear seat back, but I can check if you like.

Full review on this will come soon!
