Anyone got New Rims

I just ordered mine. I went ahead and grabbed the edr9 matte blacks, 18x7.5 45 offset.
Im kinda concerned since the stock offset is 39 but im hoping it turns out to look good. Im getting them on stock tires I just don't want the look to change too much.
Any thoughts?

45 offset will look like sunken battleships... and you might also have rubbing issues on the inside of the wheel...

now i'm oh so contemplative...

you think so? the guy i spoke to said they would look better and more flushed with the wheels i am getting and there would be no rubbing, or any problems of that matter. i am sticking with the 18x7.5 tires and will be lowering my tc in the near future i decided to go with new wheels first...

I am using the stock tires on my 18x9.5's +35 offset... My wheels sit pretty close to flush with no rubbing issues.
Stocks are 18x7.5 +38
your new ones will be 18x7.5 +45, which means they will sit 7mm deeper in the wheel wells... which is 7mm closer to your shocks/suspension... plus who knows about caliper clearance...

Plug each figure into this and you'll see what your result should be:

Yes I did, good catch
your wheels are 1/2 inch wider than what he got, so at least we know clearance on the inside will work, but he is still going to sit about 6mm deeper than yours...

Why do you say that? The stock offset is +39...he has got +45. That is a difference of only 6-mm. There are 25.4-mm/inch. So if you divide 25.4 into 6, you get only 0.236-inches. That is less than 1/4-inch. I doubt you will ever see that!

His 1/4" is no way near the 1" that is available...There are no concerns from me. They will fit.
I don't think you will even notice that 1/4"...so what is the opposite of crap?

I've dry fitted 9" wheels on a 40-mm offset. That means that there is at least 3/4" clear space behind the wheel...just looking at the wheel. There is actually at least a 1/4" clearance there - so there is in actuality a whole 1" of space back there.

Not saying it will happen, but there is a risk. My Enkei's will not clear the factory brakes, but they will clear the TRD BBK for example.
Either way, I think if the shop will take the wheels back, take them back and get a better offset. You paid to improve the looks and sunken wheels is not always that. I bet the company that makes your wheels has a better offset for you to choose from.

Stock wheels look hellasunk, so why wouldnt aftermarket wheels that actually are more sunk, look like it?
