this is my 2scents ok.. my first set of rims where privat aka konigs. i though those were cheap and sick looking but guess what i get what i pay for. one of my rim had broken spokes crack down the middle so after that i decided to never purchase knock off wheels. when u buy real japanese wheels you buy quality! i have had volks and now on ssr they are worth every penny no cracks or broken spokes when i boost on my tc. to be honest im no baller because i can afford real quality rims, its called saving up. everyone can do it =D

I rocked TENZO's for 4 yrs....Until I was able to buy my dream wheels I wanted for years!..I saved up!
One day I hit a HUG pothole w/ my TENZO Wheel...it did crack really bad...Kept the air in the tire still.
You can always buy used Legit Wheels & get them refurbished also!...Just have to put the work in and search around on this Great "Internet".

Yes, that phone is a fake IPHONE, but is it a fake phone? No. XXR is not claiming to be any other wheel besides XXR. Is your OEM wheel lightweight, forged racing wheel or whatever? No. It's a cast wheel, just like XXR. So if your not doing anything other than driving on the street, than who cares. Yes, I could save up and buy some Works like I want, but I don't want or need to. My street wheels make my car move. That's what they are supposed to do. I never said XXRs are the best wheel, nor did I even say they are good. But I do believe they are just as good as OEM, if you treat them like they are OEM, not a damn racing wheel.

Everything depends on how you drive and where you drive. If you're after stance, XXR wouldn't be a bad idea. If you're after high durability and performance, I would not recommend a cheap wheel. The quality is clear when comparing a $200-300 rim to one that is $800-900.

ryan, no hating...ur ride does look nice and its how you want it (which is the most important part)
but what these guys (and i agree with them) are saying is that fake wheels are (for lack of a better phrase) no good...for multiple reasons.
now just because i dont like fake wheels, doesnt mean im going to hate on others that get them. if u come to me and ask me, i would not recommend them...but heck if u really like it for whatever reasons and still get them, then its not my position to judge

I can't say that Rep wheels are bad because I use them, drift and racing teams use them, and, as well as, many others in the car world. But, I can say you pay for what you get most of the time.
I like my rims overall, and so did the 240 driver I got them from. If you don't misuse the rim, they should be okay for you, rep or no reps.
