Default help with some wheels!!!!

whats up guys?? i know i havent been on here for a while... thats cuz nothing has been really going on with my car... same stuff since last spring... im planning on doing some more work on it this spring to get it nice and awesome looking for the summer... so im looking to get some wheels and coil overs... (i already know im going for tein coil overs)

but i need some help on what wheels to get... i kinda got my eye on two wheels... work emotion cr-kai or varrstoen 2.2.1 i am leaning towards the varrstoen. here's my question. looking to get a size that will fit my stock tires since i dont plan on getting new tires yet. (18x8.5-9?) and what offset should i go for? i want it to look concave and flush around the fender. not too close though since the car will get lower with the coil overs...

thanks sooooo much in advance!!! you guys are awesome here!!

whats the size of ur stock rims 215/40? 225/40? it would fit 8.5" or 9" wide rims but u need to fibd someone that would stretch those tires to fit those wide rims. for offset i dnt really know the stock ofset of the gen2 tc but +35 front +25 rear just my opinion and for those offset and wide rims u need to get ur fender rolled so it wont rub with coilovers

anything greater 8.5" will stretch the tire

I would not recommend putting stocks on anything greater than 9.5

as for offset it will depend what you dropped on

The stock tires will go on a 9.5" wide rim. Several members have done it. Youy need to decide on a width to figure your offset. Offset and width affects your poke. I'd go at leat 9" wide. 8.5" width is fine and lighter weight, but most wheels look 10x better in a 9" to 10" width. I wish I had gone 9.5" myself just for looks. Check out the "Anyone got new wheels" thread. Everyone list their specs to help the next guy make a decision.

so i decided to go with some TSW Nurburgring. this was the inspiration to my decision.

i would have went with these enkei's but they dont come in 19"

i havent ordered them yet cuz im trying to find where the cheapest place to get them from. but the specs would be 19x9.5 225/40/19 tire....thoughts?????

I am also looking at those. I really like them but I am also stuck between the TSW croft. The look good from the images ive seen on google. The actual website pics dont do it justice to me plus they are a little cheaper but the Nurburgring are lighter from what I have looked up.

Just watch E-Bay, use only reputable sellers of course. I bought mine from a seller on E Bay,Victoria tire and wheel. My wheels retailed over 1200, got them for a little over 900 shipped. California to South Carolina in less than a week in flawless condition. Remember to order proper lugs and hubcentric rings. All are on E-Bay. PM me if you need help finding something. I may not be able to get online Monday though.
BTW check the weight of those wheels, I believe they are kinda' heavy. You will notice it trust me. The 9 lbs. I lost per wheel made a very nice improvement on my Tc. Stockers are 27 lbs. which is heavy, I'd avoid anything over that.

Didnt want to start a new thread so I hope its ok to post on this one. Any thoughts on what the Evo X gsr rims would look on a cement? specs are 18x8.5 offset 38 5x114.3. I am considering getting a set but still on the edge on the look.
