Default Stock/TRD Wheel Fitment/Weights 2tC

We always need the stock fitment information to get a jumping off point for wheel fitments. I supposed I'll start it off

All info is based on USDM 2011 tC.

PCD: 5 x 114.3 (5 x 4.5)
This is now the same as the 2nd generation xB (and just about all current Toyota cars except the Yaris, Corolla, Prius, and the trucks/suvs of course).

Stock Wheel
Description: 7 Dual-Spoke Wheel
Size: 18 x 7.5J
Offset: (Checking)
Weight: 26.7 lbs Official
Tire Size: 225/45R18

--------

TRD Wheel Option
Description: 7-Spoke Wheel, Gloss Graphite Silver finish
Size: 19 x 8.0J
Offset: +35
Weight: 24.1 lbs Official
Tire Size: 235/35R19

--------

Tested

Five Axis Design R5:F
Description: 5-spoke alloy wheel
Size: 19 x 8.5J
Offset: +30
Weight: ???
Tire Size: 225/35R19

Suspension: Tein Coilovers (unconfirmed model, likely Super Street)
Notes: Clears without issue. Rear can use a spacer to flush out. 9.5 +35 fits rear if staggered look is desired.

We'll start doing some test fitments once we have more stock. Til then, this should be a good starting point. I'll update with more info (and pictures) once available.

Stock Wheels from the Manual Transmission w/Yokohama Tires weighed 52 lbs mounted when we took them off and weighed them. We also put the 19x9.5 +40 offset Ark Design wheels from my xB on it and they fit perfect.... no rub anywhere, but keep in mind there was no drop. It looks like you may be able to fit a 1o inch wheels with 265 or 275 tires.. we shall see next week when the HRE wheels come in.

I've eye balled a few fitments as well. A 9.5" or 10" should fit with some camber and a 255-275 should also clear. The rear seems to be the issue making 255 seem more feasable.

Let me know when you get fitments on the tC.

The first gen is 5x100.

The second gen is 5x114.3 (5x4.5) which is the same as just about every Toyota 5-lug (except xD, Corolla, trucks). So it's the same as the xB2.

I just bought a 2011 tC and i'm looking to get some wheels for Winter season.

Does anyone know what is the Center bore diameter ?
Can you confirm that the offset is +39 on the 18inches wheels ?

Toyota dealer does not have any listing yet for replacement wheels on the 2011... They said they currently use RAV4 17" wheels for winter...
I'm looking to get 16 inches wheels for Winter, any advice on which Offset should i get?

Thanks!

I'll take a look once I get into work tomorrow. I think 17" may be the smallest that will fit since the brakes are relatively large.

Thanks for the reply.

I would really appreciate the info.

Seems like this car is not going to be cheap on tire!

Car comes with a 16" spare, so that is the smallest wheel that will fit.

Touche~ Never thought of using logic LOL.

Front fitment of 19x8.5 with 30 offset worked nicely. Did a staggered (obviously for show only) 9.5 +35 in the rear without issue as well.

Do you guys think I can run an 18x10 grid with a 15 offset and 245s? Picking mine up Friday. Paperwork signed today I will be rolling my fenders and some 1.5 negative camber front and rear. Or should I just stick with a 9.5 on a 255?

The new TRD catalog is out
http://www.toyotaracing.com/trd/cata...RD_Catalog.pdf

There seems to be two wheels for the 2011 tC...
a low pressure cast wheel PTR56-21110
and a forged wheel PTR56-21100

Are they the same width? Can anybody verify this?
What are the weight diferences? They are both a 7 spoke design...

There is only one wheel for tC... PTR56-21110. It is 19" x 8".

Each wheel is 24.1 lbs, which IIRC is about 2.5 lbs lighter than the factory 18"s.

EDIT: Just re-read the first post. Info is correct.
