Default wheel size question

I am totally clueless as to what fits the gen2 TC. So far I have tints, 2nd reverse light, led reverse bulbs, 6k HID kit, full interior LED bulbs, LED city bulb and S-tech's on the way. Now I am looking at wheels and I am completely lost. Can anyone recommend what would fit and what tire size to go with? I don't like real skinny tires so any help would be appreciated.

18x8.75 (+20 or +35?)

18x9.75 (+20)

+35 on the offset is ideal imo. Most people with new wheels are staying very close to that offset. an 18x9.5 will fit all the way around nice and flush. 19" wheels seem to be the best looking imo. Lot of dough to shell out though.

so i guess 18x8.75 will be the way to go right? with a +35 offset...I never seen wheels come in 8.75 or 9.75, I always see the 8.5 or 9.5. Can anyone recommend a tire size? I am not into that super stretched tire look. Btw the wheels I am looking at are the XXR 527 in gold. Thanks

Personally I'd go 17x9.75 and drop the hell out of it.

235-255 will fill up the rim properly. I have been looking at those same wheels pearlwhite z. They are out of stock everywhere right now, broke anyways lol. Rota makes a bunch of 18x9 wheels with offsets that will work for our ride. They are a little more expensive but I think they are better quality than XXR.

After installing my 18x9.5 +35. I seriously think we could fit the 18x10 +15's with only minor modifications, like a fender roll and be good to go.

edit: I currently have about half an inch between the tire and the inside fender lip. The extra 1/4 inch closer to the fender from the wider wheel will still work, but the +20mm difference in offset will be the problem... But like I said a simple fender roll and we should be good to go...

I think it would be interesting to see if it could be done but like stated earlier by wellesly it probably could be done with a roll and very stretched tires
