Default 06 xA colgan bra

Any xA 06 owners order a colgan full bra carbon fiber? I would like to order one for my new 06 xA, quite expensive. Is there any other 06 xA owner who ordered a colgan full bra? Is the 05' bumper the same as the 06? Thanks for any help.

Bump! Hey guys, is the front bumper and grill changed enough on the 2006 to disrupt fitment of a bra made for the 2004-2005? It looks like it changed enough to make a difference, but maybe someone has fitted a bra on the newer model?

Default xA 06 Full Bra

I have yet to find a xA full bra for the 06. Toyota tried selling a tiny little bandaid thingy that fits on the hood for $60. Went home and used Blue painters tape. Took awhile to apply. It's still on, about 10 days worth. Guess, I better take it off.

Anyway, thinking of going to an upholstery person, buying fiber-fill, measuring and maybe that way. Colgan never got back to me.

Thats a shame they never responded.I was going to buy two bras...one for the box and the other for the xA.I would hope they have better customer service than that.

Default xA 06 Full Bra

How brave of you to buy for xA 06. Actually, I am ready to protect any way possible. Even if it doesn't fit perfectly? Unless, of course, it is dangerous on the highway. Not sure.

Default xA 06 Full Bra

The first hint I had 06 was different came from a Toyota parts manager. He said "Well, the bumper has a different parts number." Then an xA 05 was parked right next to my gorgeous Mica 06 and I could see a difference. So, would a Colgan full fiber bra fit an xA 06, just a little , or no way don't even go there! And if you ask Colgan, would the answer be like the fox watching the hen house?

Sent Colgan an email...no response after 24 hrs so I called them today.Customer service guy(ext. 22) was a bit of an idiot and not at all concerned about the issue. He did say they were different so he couldn't guarantee the fit.I asked if they were going to make one for the 06 and he said I should ask at my local Toyota dealer....what the heck does that have to do with it?
Bottom line they suck as a company.
I also asked about bras for my xB and he wasn't really into answering any more questions.

Default xA 06 Full Bra

Sorry to her Colgan was not very helpful. That's what I ran into. I now look longingly at other small cars with half-masks or bras on and tempted to try and stop them to ask.
Looks like there should be another custom bra company. Come out measure, sew, and fit. Like an auto slip cover. Dreaming....

Any further news on this topic? I too am now on the hunt for a full bra from my new 2006 Scion xA. Has anyone bought the 2005 Colgan bra for a 2006 model? I'd love to know if the fit is "close enough" to work for me.

Default full bra xA 06

I never found a full bra for xA 06. There was one reply that said they used a 'LaBra' The fit was not perfect, but since there was not much choice, they used it anyway.

Wish I had better news for you.

Well, surprise, surprise. Someone at Colgan answered my e-mail. Looks like a bra for the 2006 xA may be coming! Here's the latest scoop:

Hi,

2006 Scion xA is on the process. 2005 xA will not fit the 2006 xA.

Thank you,
