I have an odd problem?

I installed a lcd 2 way paging alarm system (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...5508&rd=1&rd=1) every thing works perfectly but....
The door ajar lite is on always but very faintly when the car is running or the car is off locked and armed ?Can barly see it during the day and better at night. The door sensor trigger works normaly .it sets the alarm off when the door opens ect and when I open the door it lights up to the normal intensity of brightness.????
Any help please
do i need a diode?
a relay?
or just live w/ it
and will it drain my battery

ps just installed a cold air intake i purchased on ebay for $54.
