L.E.D Footwell Installation
Ive searched under every topic for L.E.D. Installs and its completely confusing. I just bought a new 06 xA and Im excited to start fixing it up, Yet the sad thing is, I dont know ANYTHING about cars. So therefore, Leaves me stupid. So anybody have any advice or something to teach about how to install the leds, without going technical terms on me. Or know of any type of place that I could go to that wont charge me like 200 dollars to install them. HELP haha

I already saw that post.
This is what I have, basically.
The cathode lights
I just went and got some more red/black wire and a switch.
Now can someone explain to me how I hook up it all up but using the power supply from the cigarette lighter.?

I bought some 10" led strips and an "add a fuse" at Pep Boys...and a toggle switch from Lowe's. The led strips have double stick tape on the bottom, they stick very well on the bottom lip over the footwells, they are very thin, you can't see them...and light is fantastic! I popped the switch into the hole below and right of the steering column. It was an easy install...I am NOT knowlegeable about electronics at all. With the add a fuse, you jsut take out whatever fuse you want to replace, pop this thing in, and it creates another fused circuit to add the lights. If you can't find what I am talking about, pm me, I will go up there and get part numbers.
