Default Pictures of SPFR Jon's Widebody xA kit!

Anthonys xA Won 2nd place in the mini class at the Import Showoff - It's a right proper widebody kit that Jon designed, look at those tight seams all around!

Just imagine some reall low offset wheels and paht lip, or some dope 18's on this ride!

omg! that has to be some of the cleanest lines EVAR for a widebody kit that I've ever seen!! really awesome job man!! and bbTed is right, not too over the top like the yella one...

planning anything for a xB? maybe something along the lines of the old BMW E30 M3 fender flares?

last time i checked..
fender flares were meant to accomadate
lower offset of wider wheels that would normally
pretrude out of the fender(like a little).
those rims look like ___ to start with..
(sticking in like 3-4" GROSS)
and with the kit on.. ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh
(nothing like adding another 2-3" of space)
its cool if u wanna look like a ford bogus.(j/k)
i just think he needs some 3" spacers now.

see?. rims make or break a car.. and with flares..
U GOTTA ROCK SPACERS! that foolio on ebay that sells flares
for the xb all the time has them on his car(spacers..) makes it 10 times better
looking.. its not the size of the rim that lacks.. its the distance
from the edge of the fender to the lip of the rim..
and i do like this kit over the yellow xA

Ouch!

I think it looks good. I think the whole thing looks pretty nice. Yes, the wheels could be out a bit farther, but so be it.

With all due respect, that is your opinion. The owner obvisously things they look okay. We are all entitled to our opinions, though. Those are the TRD wheels, right?

yes those are trdrims...
i've seen them on the newer celicas before too.
i just think that getting widebody and having rims that
don't sick out far enuff isn't good looking.
its like putting a triple decker aluminum wing on a car that doesn't
really need it or have any use for it.. like umm
rocking a double decker aluminum wing on a civic that has
a bone stock everything.

I think those flares are pretty well-done. It's not really gaudy, and definitely has potential for goodness.
Joey might have been a little harsh in his comments, but it seems like he was just stating that the flared xA can (and hopefully will) look a lot better once the wheel fitment and stance are all sorted out. I mean, I think we can ALL agree that this ride is pretty dang nice...

And just looking at this right now:

But I'm sure there's more to come with this car, and we can only wait till the stance and wheels catch up with the flares!

I think the fender flares flow nicely into the side skirts. I do agree that it would definitely benefit from a better wheel fitment/offset. Just imagine how rad that would look with wheels that are flush with the fender! Overall, really nice though! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Peace,
m@

that is a nice kit, but it is not a widebody kit. it is a fender flare.
