xA Eyelids
Hi guys
I don't know how many of you want to get eyelids...
If you are looking for a vinyl/film overlay, go with bluebatmobile
But if you look at this picture carefully, the eyelid has a thickness to it. And this is because it is not a film. I can create something similar like this blue one, or you guys can show me some eyelids you want. If I can get like couple pre-orders I can put them in production. Let me know
I don't know exact cost yet, so give me some feed backs on design and price :D
I will try to make a painted kit which you guys can buy and install in a snap

Lets see if we can get enough interest on these eyelids :D
I have no idea on the pricing yet...
I want to offer them painted because it's a simple part, and I want you guys to be able to purchase them, receive them, and pop it right on with 3M tapes instead of worry which bodyshop to go...
Is $99 sounds right for a pair? what do you guys expected to pay for a "quality" product??

I will try to work something out
$99 is just my guess
I don't take it to cheap shop, and 3M tape is not cheap either
I will see how much it takes to built one, and price for the paint
$50 is something you can probably find on ebay that the color don't match and parts don't fit
Again I will try and see how much it really cost
Need more feed back on the price and design
Thanks

what type of eyelids are you guys interested in. i've been coming up with a few designs and i'll be posting pictures soon, maybe tomorrow, but its supposed to rain today so i don't think i'll be getting to it until friday. the first two are just the normal style eybrows, one wraps around the turn signal the other is just straigh across the top. last night i started making more of a headlight cover type eyelid, it covers the entire headlight except for the center and turn signal, looks almost like a celicas headlight, sharp and slim. i'll post a pic of it tonight, i haven't gotten to making a template for it because its going to take a while to match the headlight exactly. i took some pictures of it last night with just blue masking tape marking the the covered parts of the headlight. let me know what you guys think when i post it, also, let me know of some designs you guys got in mind. i'm going to try to spit out about 5 or 6 designs and show them to some companies to see if they can get made into real pieces instead of vinyl.
i used ms paint, i'm at work, give me a break... it looks like crap i know, but just to give you an idea of that celica type eyelid style i was talking about. i have pictures of it with the blue masking tape at home so i can't upload a actual picture that would show what it'd really look like. but this will give you an idea. this is just a crazy idea, but wanted to see if some people might like it.
oh, and i'd say people would probably be looking to spend 75 at the most, 99 is a bit expensive, but if its a good quality product and its painted already, then i guess that's a reasonable price. it'd cost you at the least $50 just to get it painted at a shop if you can't paint it yourself. so the extra money is worth the hassle to me.
