Default xA Fab body kit

ok I am going to order a Fab body kit in the next few weeks and wanted to ask some questions to the people that has it. Does the body kit go lower than the bumpers and side skirts that comes on the Xa? If so how much lower? I know there are a few people selling the kits on e bay but how can you tell it's not a knock off of the real thing? How was the line up on everything? Did it fit right or did you have to do some moding to get it to fit?

ok, here goes... It is lower than the stock, so much to the point that I dont want to put lowering springs on it for fear of scraping too much. It sits about at 3/4" or so lower one the sides and back and a bit more on the front. Mine was ordered off of ebay and was manufactured by Extreme Dimensions in Torrance CA. Line-up was great except for the back sticking out a bit where it meets the taillights and the fender, about 1/2 inch, but it really doesn't bother me much seeing as the sideskirts add the same amount to the other side of the fender. There was a bit of modding to make the front fit, just a couple of cuts to the bottom grill supports, but nothing too drastic and the grill holds well. Check out the pics in my profile and I can take more if u need. Enjoy, its a great looker, just watch out for the deep driveways. And avoid road debris... one of my sideskirts had a chunk bitten outta it by unknown crap on the road, but it got fixed so im happy.

Thanks man for the info! I have air ride and needed to know who much lower the kit was. Going to make it lay body when I am finished with the 18's I have on it. I have to mod the rear axel a bit but nothing a welder can't fix! Don't think the front will be a problem to lay out but the back needs about another 2 inches, so cutting I will go!

I'll be carrying some FAB style body kits very soon. Material will be hybrid FRP, which is kind off between urethan and fiberglass. THe kit will flex like urethane. Let meknow if you're interested.

if you plan to sell the components as separates (i.e. just the rear bumper, or just the front lip, etc.), i'm definitely in.

I've seen the fab kit and it drops around 1.5-2 inches. Couple that with a spring drop of another 1.5-2 inches and you'll only have less than 3 inches of bumper clearance (I couldn't even squeeze four fingers between the ground to the top of the kit!
