Default xA here i come!!! Everybody watch out!

sup everyone!

I will be giving up my 2004 BMW 530 for a new 2006 white xA! I cant wait till i get it! I loved the xA ever since it came out and now i finally decided to get it. For me, its not about the price of the car that interests me but just the overall design of the overall vehicle and i think the xA is a one of a kind car with a awesome overall look. Too bad, not that many things out there for the xA.

No worries, i own a company that manufacture CF/FB parts and accessories. Be sure that i will make parts for my car and everyone else who are interested in aero parts.

Any suggestions what parts to manufacture? I am not into reproducing replicas that other companies have already to produce. I feel that it takes time and effort to produce a product even if its a replica so i respect that as i am a manufacture myself. So i dont like to take business away from others, but i dont mind producing thing that is not out there as of yet.

These are the parts i am considering doing to my xA:

1. FAB kit
2. Carbon hood - i want a vented hood, heat channel capability
3. carbon hatch
4. Rims and suspension of course
5. JDM grille- sourcing out a sample for reproduction- sorry i just dont believe in paying 300+ that is just insane no matter how much money you have..
6. Turbo
7. Audio system- which i already have from my previous G35 coupe

any other suggestions please feel free to let me know. I dont mind producing something as long as i dont lose money on it then its all cool!

welcome to sl! Check out www.xatuner.com, there's a forum board on that site too. I go on there myself to post.

It's good to know you can make xA aero parts in cf or fb..

thats what we need. parts made specially for the xa and not just to have 1 more product available to show you have a wide variaty. i would deffinetly buy a hood. sometimes i feel like i bought the wrong cars.i never can find decently priced body components or variety for my xa and i cant find perfofrmance parts made to work perfect for my corolla xrs. but then again thats why we have the xa. scions are unique cars but fixed up XA's are rare. keep tunning guys.

yea xactly, there's always 20-30 xB's and tC's at a show but always less than 7 xA's. So basically no competetion except for Freddy's xA and Coi's xA, they show and are guaranteed a trophy.

Good Job Punksterz, I just took a test drive today (check my thread[https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...22491#1422491]
if you care how i LOVED it), But I have been interested since about 12/05. Good to see a replica JDM grille, the prices I've seen were that bad or worse

Oh yeah, Welcome to SL (Try www.xatuner.com also)

I understand, xA owner gets no love from the rest of the world. Its all good. The few the better. Anyhow, it seems like a few of you are into vented hoods. The only one i found is C-one but we know how much that can cost and im not really digging the style. So im up for suggestions on this hood since i will personally make this a special project for all the xA owner including myself. (BTW) i will selling my car these couple of days. You can post pictures or ideas on how you like the hood and who knows, we might end up picking your design.

ya, i get that alot. Actually xA will be my 4th car in 2years. I started with the G35coupe when it came out, drove it for 10months sold it.Then i got the 5series and few months later got the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR. Sold the MR and now selling the BMW. I like the xA as a daily driven car so most likely i'll keep it and get something fancy for weekend driving later one. If you like something, you just gotta work hard to have it.

Here are my feedback for my previously owned cars:

G35coupe- suspension sucks, NAV sucks, not as powerful as it claims. You can get better cars with that price range.

EVO MR- really good suspension (SUPERB! Billstein rocks!) but its pointless if you want to fix it up. Looks funky with stock suspension and body kits. Interior sucks, MR not worth the money. Stick with regular evos and used the money to tweak it.

5serie- Really nice car, perfect for daily driven. No major electrical problems. Its just too old for a 25yr old kid to drive even with the ACS kit.

I think the xA is a very unique car, aesthetically. Everyone post some pics of your xA. I would really like to see them.

make a carbon fiber grill that fits right and isn't gangster on the wallet and you'll see some sales. xa grilles are overpriced and need painting. this would be a great alternative.

I would but I'd most likely scrape my kit off... I was planning on maybe running some 19s and then a 1" drop. Airruner is out of reach and would lessen my fun factor.

nice wheels, but they'd look much better with a spacer. i have the same problem with my set up now, where my kit makes my wheels look even more sunk in.

How big are those wheels? and how much did you pay for the kit?

those are 18's and the kit is the Fabulous kit... ran about 600 at the time I purchased, its a bit cheaper now. Extreme Dimensions out in Torrance manufactured it. I'm looking into either spacers or shims... anyone got a preference?

OTG 10mm shims. They are safer to use and won't mess up you rear suspension like some spacers do.
