Anybody know of where I can get a set of 04/05 Xa tail lights? Maybe a trade for my 06's

Just an fyi if you don't know already. No personal experience, but I have read on here that the wiring is different between the 04-05 and 06's.

Yea i would be carefull buying 04-05 lights for an 06. Personal experience showed me that they didn't work. but this has been posted alot so do your research

 

wouldn't you need to do a simple splice on the harness to have it work? just like any wire? or is the set up completely different to stop anyone from doing it..

personally, i would definately trade my 04 taillights for your 06's.. mine are still operational and what not.. pm me if you are interested.

 

Yea if you know anything about electronics you would be able to make it work but when i put them on i decided i didn't like them anyway and didn't feel like changing the wiring around.

 

I installed a pair of tyc tail lights and they said that they wont work on 2006 xA's because of the layout on the 06 wiring is upside down see that white light is on top on the 2006. on the 04 05's they are at the bottom and that sucks for 06 xA's because the tyc taillights look's sweet.

Looks like myautofashion.com is the ONLY place to get the modified (clear) tail lights for '06 xA ($380). They are definitely better than the stock, but too bad nobody does the black/carbon-fiber ones?????? Anyone hear/have/seen any of those (carbon-fiber or black)???

 

I think we're SOL on black/carbon-fiber for the '06.
