Here is the result of following the ScionLife DIY for clear corners:
this mod was fun, b/c i got to take a bunch of stuff apart. The clear corners look great, and i painted the "boomerang" black, and it looks sick. it did take quite some time... b/c you have to do everything twice, and I did make 2 small errors that will haunt me for the rest of my life
, but this was well worth it. I recommend this mod for the novice looking to usher into the next level of modding.

what were the two small errors so i dont make them as well
on the driver's side, when i was putting everything back together, we cleaned the inside of the lens, and the rag we used to clean was a shop rag, and the fibers rubbed off on the top of the lens... so you can see some red fibers on the inside of the lens.
-- they are minimal errors, and looking back the only one that cant be taken back is the spray paint error. when you do yours use more tape than less... safe than sorry.
--one bit of advice... when working on taking the headlight off, after baking in the oven, have a friend help you make sure the epoxy does not hit the chrome... there is just barely enough room, and the extra hands help
my next mod is adding a bazooka tube, a toyota emblem to the back, a front sports grill (i need to find out if these fit the '06 xa without modding the front... b/c it looks like the rs 2.0 grill), and the japanese tail lights...

I am confused. Did you paint over the yellow? Can't you just take that piece off and do all this without paint?
I am planning to to do this also so I would love to know what I have to look forward to

no i did not paint over it... i took that yellow part out... but i painted the "boomerang". you'll know what part im talking about if you read the clear corners DIY. it adds a lot if you paint it.. but looks sick regardless if you just leave it clear
