Default Brand New Scion xA Has Close Encounter With Deer :-(

I hadn't had my new 2006 xA for even a week yet, when this happened:

The poor deer came out of it even worse than the car did, poor fella. A bad morning all the way around....

Wow, that is bad luck. It is nice that you are able to feel bad for the poor animal, too.

Deer will do that, friend had one jump out in front of him in his truck, a sec. later and it would've went though his windshield, glad you are ok, cars can be fixed.

Ouch, the car seems like it's repairable. Glad you ok.

I'm also in a bad spot as you are, but not as badly as you hitting the deer. At least you can still move and type this up to let us know.

Well today, I was driving past this golf course and a stupid golf ball came out of no where and hit the top of my car. Luckily it only left a dent 3 inches away from the glass or else I would have died and kill the other cars surrounding me.

I actually saw a car hit a deer tonight on my way home from work... wasn't a high-speed impact, probably around 5 MPH or so, since the driver had almost come to a stop, but the deer just kinda tumbled over, got back up, and ran away.

Stupid creatures.

What is the roadsign in the background? Looks like a warning to watch for guys riding cows? I just can't make it out

i wonder what this equation would equal:

(1st-gen Scion xA*65MPH)+Dairy Cow=?

hahaha dude that picture is nuts! Man okay now I know that's someone's car that really sucks but holy crap! That combined with the dairy cow post above makes it funny though... flammable cows you gotta love it!

No, the deer broke a leg and had to be put down. Listening to the gunshots was the perfect capper to a rotten morning. But, the good news was no one (other than the deer) was hurt and the car is being repaired as we speak.

The sign on the road, for those who were asking, was a "watch for crossing horses" sign.

I think that's just a Florida thing... when I lived in Ocala one of my best friends hit a gator coming home and when he got to his girlfriends' house he told her family about it and they went out and brought the gator home! Mmm, gator tail...

No, no, no... didn't do any of that and didn't want to.

By the way, for any who are wondering, got the car back exactly two weeks after the accident. The body shop did a tremendous job. You'd never know anything had happened.
