clutch chatter
#4
Mine "clatters" when sitting idle in neutral/clutch released.....goes away when clutch is pressed.... Also louder w/ AC on. Has been continual for last 50K miles... no problem - think throwout is chattering on fork??

Perfectly normal!
Cold temperatures hinder the the grabbing power of the clutch so it will chatter (heat itself up) until it is warm, then once it is warm the materials are sticky again
If it happens non-stop, you might be do for a readjusting or you need some clutch fluid.
Clutches go bad when they slip.
Drive on!
