Default Comments on the Rostra Cruise Control RF Switch?

Am looking to do an install and I really want to hear from those who have the RF Switch.

Can it be installed on the wheel securely and look professional?

Isn't there a battery that'll need replacement?

Overall glad you chose it?

Are you afraid of another RF pulling up at a light, hitting their RF and sending you into a ditch?

Appreciate your comments.

Bump... Getting an xA soon and would like to know as well. Also, can the dealer install this for me?

Radio Frequency - something that can be mounted to the steering wheel.

I haven't had any problems with mine. It mounts securely and looks good to me. No worries about another RF switch at a light.. the cruise won't set or speed back up if you're moving less than 35 MPH. There is a battery in it. It's the flat round type that you find inside computers. Looks like a big watch battery.

Wonder if I have a different brand of cruise installed. Dealer used an aftermarket custom shop (cruise was financed with the car) and I can't see the label on the back of the under-hood actuator.

I can and do set mine at 25 mph with the OD disengaged - some of these small WI towns fund their police departments on 1 mph tickets!

Can it be installed on the wheel securely and look professional? That is my only complaint. I have it on my "Mod To Do List".

Isn't there a battery that'll need replacement? Yes, it's a coin battery

Overall glad you chose it? Yes, it is awesome.

Are you afraid of another RF pulling up at a light, hitting their RF and sending you into a ditch? No, but I am not really sure how secure the signal is either. I have an Auto so may foot is on the brake anyways.
