Default Cruise Control

Have NE 1 installed cruise control on their XA? What brand and was it easy? I'm mechanically inclined but not so much with electrical.

I have an 06 xa and drive 170 miles (RT) daily to work (i avg 38 mpg). A dealer gave me a qoute of $499.00

I will welcome any detailed intruction.

Thanks

i second that

i have installed one earlier this year the hardest part was the hooking every thing up under the hood so every thing can operate smoothy... the wiring was very simple and easy to hook up just take your time and study every thing on where every thing is at in your car per what the instructions says...

The hardest part is finding the GD speed sensor wire and reaching around up under the dash board to connect the pass through connector for the brake sensor and clutch switch.

I've had the Rostra cruise for about 2 years. It's been great. Easy to install and use. The only problem I have with it is that it's a little slow to adjust when going over hills. I can get up to 5 mph over my set speed wen I come over the top of a hill.

I've been using the Rostra for about 8 months. Works pretty good for me, only complaint is the position of it.

True... The benz I had was dead one the set speed, but this will drift. Drifting in that manner does give better fuel economy.

Yeah, the handle needs to be replaced with a steering wheel or dash mounted button. I think there is a kit that uses a steering wheel switch add on.

Is there anywhere else to find this? It seems to be missing from the TRD Sparks website...and I can't seem to find it anywhere else.
