CUSTOM DASH FINISHED thanx for the help
#22
Well, it depends on if you mean the interior as a whole or just the dash. Being that it belongs to a girl who wanted it to look like a girls car, the Swarovski Crystals were a necessity to her and have a total of about 1.5 hours to install all of em. The dash took about 10-12 hours plus around 1.5 hours for the A/C vents. The LEDs in the front trim pieces, under the dash, inside all three cup holders and inside the airconditioning vents took around 4 hours to solder. The headliner wasn't that bad. Maybe like 2-3 hours. And an hour for the rear hatch panel with the flames. The door and dash trim color took a bit of time. Around 4 hours. But there is still the seat and door panel uphostery to go. I am gonna do that part in Ostrich leather for the inserts and most likely Lizard for the surrounds. That will take a bit of time. Making the patterns correctly is time consuming. Oh, and the green LEDs in the guage cluster took around 3 hours for the soldering part. The true fire gauge face was made for her, but from a photo of my airbrush artwork. The art took around 3-4 hours to do. But that is now used as a display piece. Double duty there. LOL So all in all, it wasn't all that bad, but that will change once the material for the seats get here. LOL Glad you like the work. I don't always agree with what people want on their car but I do have to make it look nice for whatever it is. It's my job mang. LOL
