Disabling ABS
should i have anything to worry about by pulling the ABS fuse, is that fuse shared, i know some cars have the cruise control on the same fuse as the ABS. i cant stand it and want to get rid of it, thanx

i figured it out myself. nothings attached to that fuse, and i got rid of it because the ineffectiveness of it, for me at least. just took it for a spin, stops faster and smoother. now normally i know the ABS will help maintain traction and stability while breakng hard, preventing the car from locking up, but the stock calipers aren't strong enough to get the car to lock until the last 15-10 miles an hour of braking. i did a 30,45,and 60 mph stop test to be sure this would be safe, and at each speed it did stop faster, i was able to maintain complete control, and only the 45, and 60mph run left any skid marks, and it was only the last few feet of braking(bout 2-3 feet)
to add to this, on top of the performance, theres no more jerking while coming to a stop, theres no horrific noise when the ABS kicks in and when i hit a bump or small pot hole it doesn't cause the ABS to kick in.

nice move disabling the ABS. I have yet to get mine to activate. If I didn't have to take my car to get inspected every year I would just remove the whole unit and save some weight. ABS are put on cars because simply people do not know how to drive. But the funny thing is people feel the brake pedal pumping and let go of it. so making it pointless.

I ran 12GA wire with an inline 30A fuse from the ABS fuse hole (use female spade terminals) to a toggle switch under my e-brake handle.
I can leave it functional during normal commuting, where it might save my ___, but if I feel like locking em up I just flip the switch off.
It works like a charm, as soon as you hit the switch the ABS and BRAKE lights come on and the antilock system is disabled. To re-enable the system you have to flip the toggle switch back on and then turn the ignition off and back on. You can do it while driving, just cuts the motor for a sec.

disabling your ABS is simply natural selection, but I pray you don't accidentally hurt anybody else with your failed logic.
