hello all. Trying to find aftermarket performance parts for the 2006 Scion xA, havent found any yet. Cold air intakes are reserved for the xB's and tC's and if they are available for the xA its for the 2004 model year. This is fustrating. they make about 1 body kit, 1 carboon fiber hood, and other parts that probably wont even fit my car. Has anybody seen any reasonably priced items for this car at all? *bangs head on table*

There are tons of body kits, etc. You just have to know what to look for. Most of them are made in Japan for the "ist" and must be imported.

I also know that Scion makes a Typhoon intake for the xA, I'm just not sure if it fits the '06. Pretty sure it will work, but it might not have been tested.

 

no, go ahead! where did u go to hook your '06 xA up? i havent found any places with reasonable enough prices or with parts for the '06 xA

 

as stated they are around just have to know what your looking for.

 

ok all of the compnents minus lip kits fit the 06. when it comes to body kits only three companies make a kit that fit the 06: fabulous, nobleese, and darkeyes. the last two are jdm so you gotta get em imported. they are full kits and replace the entire bumper instead of a lip like the kenstyle kit. all the motor components are the same, suspension, headlights and taillight designs are different

At least you know what I meant. That is what happens when you are thinking one thing and typing another.

 

there is plenty of stuff for the 06 xA out there.

what exactly are you hunting?

 

Check Ebay. I find CAI, body kits and all kinds of aftermarket stuff for the xA all the time. search for 06 xA and see what you get.

 

What's the difference in a 2004 engine and a 2006 engine? I figured they would be the same.

Nothing moved under the hood for '06, so any intake for any other year will fit.
