Yep! That's $25,000 so far. It may seem like alot, but it's alittle less then what I'd have gotten the base RX for. I love my xA, wouldn't trade it for nothing...Best little ride going!

21:13 - There are a couple of early pics in my profile. My digital camera took a dump, gonna borrow a friends, so I should have some new ones up soon. The manifest list is up to date though, if you want to see what I've done and have in the xA so far.

Wait, $25,000 on a Scion xA? are you including the price of the car into it? I'm asking this because from the list on mods you have on your profile, it shouldn't be anymore than $2500...

With $25,000, one can build one crazy fast showcar.

I will have an xA soon(how sonn? don't know yet.), and will at least lower/camber it and slap some 18s on it within the first few weeks. Then comes the lip kip, intake, exhaust and ICE. Very simlar set-up to my xB.

18s? Jesus. Too much imo. Sure its "blingin", but doesnt that negatively affect performance? :-\

If you mean 1/4 mile performance, 18s will give you a slower time, but you will get a significant boost in handling over stock.

I typed 18s for the look. If I was going strictly performance, it would be 17 inch Axis Maglites. Its the best of both worlds IMHO.

Since I have switched to 18s on my xB, I have lost roughly 1-2 miles per gallon. Not bad considering how much more crap has been added to my xB. But I really like the way it looks, and that's all that matters to me at the moment.

Yes, it includes the cost of the car. But, this figure of $2500 for what I've got over base on this car is way off. Just the rims and shoes alone were $1500. (Granted, some of the items I had dealer installed, so the prices were jacked) I guess the prices out on the left coast are alot cheaper. . . if you could get everything for $2500.

Peace!

I have 18's on my xA.

I think it actually rides better. Sure you feel every little bump in the road, but you will with any 18" wheel. But my car sticks to the road. And like Squirrel said, I only lose 1 or 2 mpg by having them on. Plus, I was going for look over performance. If I wanted performance, I sure as hell wouldn't have got the wheels that I did.

I do think that every xA needs to at least be lowered. Even the TRD springs are an improvement, and they will be warrantied.

yeah. . . these aren't exactly fast cars to begin with. . . (but I personally try to keep this thing as fast as she can be).

But 18's on the xA do look sweet!
