Frederick Gamboa is a car guy. You all know the type... never satisfied and never finished with the project. Well, to solve this problem he took his girl's xA and she set the limits on his modification plan. The car is done when she says it is done. Is it done? Well, the problem is now Nathalie caught the bug and the car just keeps evolving.

When she rolls down the street heads turn. When their good friend, Jason, rolls with them pedestrians get whiplash. The formula for making the xA look good is not a secret, but to have matching minis roam the streets of the Los Angeles area is a rare sight.

Starting with a Black Cherry xA, the first mods were the big ones. A KenStyle four-piece kit with TRD front grill were plastered onto the blank canvas and fresh paint was sprayed. To round out the look they threw on some subtle badgering in the form of a Toms and Toyota logo, and a Low Emissions Vehicle sticker to rub it into the faces of those SUV gas guzzlers.

Can't roll little wheels with this kit, so eighteen inch Racing Hart C4s were bolted up to the suspension. Suspension? Cusco coilovers and a Hotchkis stressbar take care of the handling.

For easy California cruising they selected an automatic tranny. In a car this classy there will be no more sore left leg from pumping the clutch in bumper-to-bumper traffic. To get the car up to speed they threw on the Blitz intake and exhaust system along with a Pivot Earth Ground system. Blitz will also be providing the supercharger in the very near future.

Inside the car Nathalie sits on a pair of Sparco Ultra Racing seats with matching Sparco four-point harnesses. Autometer gauges keep her apprised of the important vital signs while a Panasonic 7" in-dash DVD player keep her entertained. MB Quart speakers push the tunes through the air and a PPI 4-channel amp convert the signal to violence.

So what is next? Well, Jason has set the pace with many of the same mods, but I think that both of them have put their heads together to craft some of the finest JDM-styled minis in this country. They just smiled when they were asked what was next... an evil grin.
