A freaking steal!!! xA OEM rear spoiler

I usually question buying from ebay especially when items are at such a low price like this spoiler. The cheapest I have seen it selling for is 205.00 shipped. I bought this and installed it and it was perfect. Came with everything you need and the directions are very clear. The shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions pretty quickly.

Thanks for the vote of confidence on this spoiler, I have had this in my e-bay watch page for a long time. Finally someone said it's the real deal, and at $49.00 plus shipping of $30.00 how can you lose. Retail at toyota is around $389.00 for just the spoiler! I'm ordering mine this week (Sept 22-07) I will see how much the dealer charges to install it but I may do it myself. Thanks again.

Ive seen quite a few on ebay too, but seems less than 300 is what most toy parts stores want. I want to get one too, then use that as a jump point for a wing as to not screw up the hatch.
One ebay seller I asked said he just sold the prime wing, no light, hardware or instructions. Kind of worthless if you ask me.

Ok just to clarify for everybody I am only vouching for that seller because I bought one. There is NO catch whatsoever. Give me a day or two and Ill post up pics and some install tips. The order came with every thing you need, all you need is supply the tools.

The real deal - or CATCH
OK. I'm betting that the seller was at a Scion event - as was I - and got the spoiler as a raffle prize. Because that's how I got mine.
I'm selling mine over in Classifieds and will match whatever the ebay deal is.
One thing to be wary of, the colors on the xA changed in 2006 so the silver might not be the silver, the red might not be your red, etc. etc.
The spoilers that were being given away were all 2004 nd 2005 OEM leftovers.
Mine is a Silver Streak color. PM me for more info and I'll point you to the classified post.
OH, YEAH. The install price at the local dealer (and yes, there is PLENTY of drilling) is $85.

Point taken
Agreed. I said I hadn't seen the eBay ad yet.
Now I'm guessing he's a dealer who's stuck with a bunch of them and needs to unload them.
Just be carefull that they match your color. They changed ever so slightly from 2005 to 2006.
Good find though.
And the Scion dealer install price is $85 as I said before. Pretty worth it if you get one of these for $150 or less.

That seller has been selling spoilers for a long time, many people have gotten their OEM spoilers from that same seller. Everytime the auction ends, he relists it as "50 available." So...he has a lot! Don't think this deal will go away for a while.
There's a thread on xA team vouching for the credibility of this item.
