Good point. Then again, if some idiot decided to sit on my car, I might have to repair a bullet hole.
just one bullet hole....... i would have to replace a few body panels from bullet holes
You need to work on your aim, my friend.....

Unicron,

Go back to CC and ask to speak to a mgr. Explain (in a very calm, professional manner) what happened to you. They typically have closed circuit cameras around their stores, including the parking lots. Find out if that location does. If so, ask to see if anything was caught on tape. If it was, call the authorities and file a greviance. In the end, you get him to pay for it and maybe get him on A&B charges.

Hi all new to the forum and thought I'd make my 1st post right here. I would've done the same thing you did at this point. These kids were leaning on my Durango one day and my mother-in-law saw them and told them to get off of my truck. They gave her hell about it saying that it isn't her truck anyway that it's Mike's (me) truck she says that I wouldn't want them on my truck anyway, which I wouldn't. Anyway they got off of my truck. Later that day my in-laws were leaving and saw them leaning on my wife's Xa she is fuming now and tells them again to get off of my car and they listen. The next day when my wife went out to go to work we find a basketball sized dent in the door. So now I have nice dented area in a 3 month old car and the cops can't do snot because we can't prove anything. I would beat the kids if I knew exactly who it was but I was told there were like 8 of them and I have to live with them, whoever they are...

That would seem to be the majority opinion in this thread. I gave up.

Default um

These stupid punks these days dont react well to logic or words...They only understand pain...and it's their parents fault usually...In Unicrons situation there isnt much you could have done, unless of course you had a gun...which would have been nice...scare the crap out of them with no violence at all...They were probably casing the car...why else park in the boonies with just your car...If you beat the crap out of someone at least take their money to pay for the damages they incurred on your car, or take it out of their car LOL

I'm sure that asking the little angels to kindly step away from smoething that isn't theirs would have worked.. And if they didn't , it's off to time out for each one of them.

I know that we will never agree on how to handle this situation. Yall will do it your way, others will do it another way. When if these wannabe thugs would just learn a little respect for other people's property, none of this would happen.

Maybe if they had the massive dent in their door like I have they would see things differently. I'll get some pics whenever I can find the charger for my video camera. It makes me sick everytime I see it. It isn't nearly as bad as it was. I removed the inside panel and reached up through the door and popped it out. It looks 85% better than it did but is still extremely noticeable.

Yikes-- sorry you guys had such bad experiences...

I would advise against the violence though... I volunteer as an EMT and from what I see, this sort of thing just escalates and gets worse.
