Default Has anyone added a Sunroof to their xA?

I was thinking of having a sunroof added in the spring to my new xA.
Anyone have any reason why not or recommendations??

BTW..I am teaching my wife to drive standard in the xA....quite amusing so far...

I had a Polar White xA and I ask my dealer to install a sunroof for me as well. Price is $1350.

Adding a moonroof will add extra weight to the car (not much, but it's there) Also, you'll lose around a inch or more in the roof so if you're the tall type, you might want to hold off on it until you get some low bucket seats.

Custom jobs are fairly expensive and range a LOT from shop to shop. I would ask around for a a few quotes before bringing it in for them to chop up the hole in your roof :D

This is an example of a Scion xA with Hollandia 524 GrandView Panoramic Sunroof . This one will looks almost the same as the tC factory sunroof.

I was thinking to install this, but this is too large for me if I got it install in Boston, we have so much snow and wind and rain. So I just had my dealer to install the one who looks like exactly the RS 1.0. :o

hey, hotbox05, I got some pic for you. Those are hot for your box. Yeah, I'd agree a sunroof is a MUST HAVE for the xB.

xB with Hollandia 400 Deluxe Power Folding Sunroof

With Hollandia 322L Power Spoiler Sunroof:

hmm i like the big glass a lil better. i've always wanted a sliding rag top but i think it'd look better on an old aircooled bug or my old bimmer. hmm how much do those panoramic glass roofs run?oh and i hate how that glass sunroof slides over the roof. not cool in my book. easier tho i'm sure i'm afraid of losing rigidity tho. hmmm maybe one day. my box will be tight in a year or two. panoramic sunroof , air suspension , 17's and 2zz? hell yeah . lol . one day but seriously thats my plan well than and a bbist vented hood and cf spoiler.

If you install a sunroof by your dealer, you can get a cheaper price but it won't be this kind of sunroof. Also, this one is life-time warrantly. If you install a sunroof by your dealer, the warrantly would only goes for 3 years. You might want to goto Webasto website to check that out:
http://www.webastoshowroom.com/locat...ator_main.html

but i would say the price range would be from $1300 to $1500

well...good question. So I end up with having my dealer to install it for my safety. But I was saying is that the Webasto got better style sunroof than my dealer. My dealer just help me to install the factory sunroof that the RS 1.0 has.
