Default Hello

i just bought a 2006 Scion Xa flint Mica. This is my first new car. I love it. So I was woundering, what is the first thing that most of you would upgrade first? It came with the ipod stereo, but thats all for upgrades. It's a manual too, so i was thinking of getting a new shift **** for it. my last car was a nissan nx1600 and i got sick of repairing it. I am very happy with my Xa. Thanks. Sorry for ranting. peace.

hey man i hope you like you like you car, i know i love mine. the first thing i did was rims and tires. its a real difference. or i would suggest lowering it. that wheel gap is hideous. but it's what ever want to do. its like a disease cuz you are always tryin to think of what you want to do next. but good luck, you can always go to some shows and check it out.

First off, welcome to the family!

Second, I'd say drop it about an inch. That will help the looks, save the ride and you can still use your stock shocks.

Third, hit up http://www.xAtuner.com

I have Tein S Tech lowering springs on mine! The drop is about 1.5"... I don't know about everyone else, but I think that I can afford to drop it more.

Installation shouldn't run you more than $150. It may be more or less depending on where you go. Any type of performance shop can do it for you. Or a local customization shop.

Visit http://www.xatuner.com when you have a chance. It's a friendly xA-based site and forum.

In addition to what Hornet has said if you really want to see a good boost in performance in your xA a complete Intake, Header, and Exhaust set-up will be like night and day. With the set-up I'm running the powerband opens up at around 2750 RPM and boy does it really start to pull. :D

I'm going to be even more excited to see what it has once I get my Perrin pully installed.
