We'll be buying our xA tomorrow. Well, putting it on order. They said six weeks delivery. It'll be my wife's car and she wants the red because she saw the dealer's rental/service car on the lot. However, I don't think it is the same red in 2006: Salsa something or other.

Does anyone know the 2005 red vs 2006 red differences? The one on the lot was sharp, but it doesn't look like the same red. Is there a difference?

 

I think the 2006 red is lighter than 04-05...

Black Cherry Pearl is obviously much darker, and much nicer, IMHO, than Salsa Red.

 

For one, black cherry pearl is neither RED or in production on new vehicles.

The salsa red is a browned red, and not the vivid shaded-red that happened to be the only red available as the 1.0 release
