I sat in a tc today

Yeah, considering the popularity of the tc, I see why they axed the xa. I just thought scion was trying to be different than most cars considering the strangeness of the xa and xb. I sat in one and was not impressed.
Thats ok, my car was mistakened for a smart the other day. I like to drive up to the lower curbs so my car only takes half a parking spot, like a smart.

I was thinking about the british look you see on the minis, however I do not want to be easily id from the air when they patrol i95, i64, i295 during my travels and keeping up with traffic.
kiss_kiss_kill has a nice tc, if I saw a car like hers for sale, it would be hard to say no if it had at least 35+ fuel economy.
I am waiting to see what gm does. The volt maybe my new car. If they can folllow through with the threat of getting 40 miles per a recharge before the gas engine even turns on at any speed, unlike hte prius, I may never use gas again as most of my trips are 38 miles or less.
My parents have asked for my xa, my dad likes how easy the clutch is to push and operate. My dad is a benz guy, so maybe I will remove the badges and make it a benz? I think that silver color and led license lights makes the rear look like a bmw and the bmw badge would fit nicely where the scion one is.

I'm about 6'4 and I have no problems with leg room, like ack said. In fact, I don't even keep the seat all the way back, because then I have to fully extend my leg to push the clutch all the way down. So I'm going to assume that you're either over 6'7, tall and overweight, or just didn't play with the seat/steering wheel enough to get the right spot.
Also, the tC does not have a low seat, I don't know wth you're talking about. Go sit in a 2-door sports car..then say the tC has a low seat.

The xa I work the petals like sitting in front of a piano, my old benz I had my legs extended. Not that the xa is roomie, but it is doable. You sit taller like in a van. To steer it, I have my hands near my knees on my inner thighs and steer with my fingers. I shift with my fingers, no arm movement needed. Needless it is a small car.
THe tc, I just sat in it sideways with my legs over the side, reached under the seat to move the seat back by grabbing the lever and it was. I then reached under the wheel for the tilt adjuster and it was in the highest position. I then swung my legs over, grabbed the wheel to see how it fits and that s when it hit me. I did like the open feeling like a convertible with the sun roof. I may see about one of those for my xa, if they make such a thing.
It felt lower than the xa, I never said it was too low or really any height. I just thought the scions had a higher stock ground to seat height for some reason since the others seem the same.
Thats ok, the rio5 I tried when I started looking for a car the steering wheel was in my crotch and knees jammed against the dash board when I tried to drive one. It was not even drivable for me unless I cranked the seat back all the way. The sedan rio was better, but still tight. Oh wait, now the kialife members are going to get upset?
Yeah, I know I am fat, part is from the supplements I took to get out of the wheelchair of 9 years. I also took steroids for my blindness to get the swelling under control.
Nessless to say, roids make you big and or fat. I have kind of let myself go, however that my car is almost paid for, I bought a house earlier this year with a locked in low rate, 200 bucks cheaper monthly than my old apartment and a great job with security and benefits, I quit my dead end stressful day job, paid off a loan I took out to move and down payment and delt with a few weeks of walking pnumonia.
I am working on the weight. Ive lost 2 inches around my waist the past month and another belt notch, however that makes me a 46 inch waist and still over 300 lbs. I can almost wear a size 44 in my cloest I tried the other day, but still a ways to go.

Where the hell are all of the "we're united by individuality" and "be polite" people when the tC guys take up pages bashing someone on their mods and "cheap" wheels?
Put your priorities in order people...
The 'united by individuality' thing is joke. If we're not sporting the best and or most expensive mods, nobody cares (not speaking for myself). It's sad... but we hate each other.
Now about the topic, I didn't find anything wrong with "sitting" in the tC, but then again I've never driven one. I can only imagine how cramped you may feel, Cobb.
It's not always about how tall a person is; your leg room can be compromised if you are heavier also. Which explains your situation because I'm a heavy dude and the xB does me justice for leg room.

I'd like to think that we all ARE united by individuality as long as we maintain some sort of likeness; which would be driving Scions. But some look past the fact that we drive the same damn cars and they flame others for reasons they believe to be of some importance. This isn't about me; putting "not speaking for myself" in parenthesis was not for my health.

I guess its ***** envy?
Not many guys can be cool with a 1.5L engine in a vehicle that gets upwards to 40 +mpg. with out any bottle, turbo or charger on an already adquit sized power plant. No, they need a larger engine, 2 less doors, right side dash, etc.
Anyway, I tried a mini convertible today, I guess the mini guys are going to be hating me now, but here is the photo.

Here are some photos from my old camera of me in the xa. Again, I assumed the tc offered more leg room as the xa isnt roomie, but doable. And yes, the drivers seat is all the way back and back reclined so my head is parallel with the seat belt thingie in the side pillar.

Needless to say, anything short of a full size suv, sedan, leg room for me is always an issue. I was seriously considering looking for another benz, 240 or 300d as they get upper 30s in mpg, however diesel is soo expensive. I use to drive my benz with legs and arms fully extended slouched down in the seat. I felt like a ganster in that car. The moreno I had as a rental car got 27 mpg, not bad for an 8 passenger suv with awd. One reason I wrote you about the 40% off sale nissan has, but fuel economy can always come back to bite you.
Right now I was looking at either a smart, zap or volt. I think the volt is going to be the new beatle if they can do it. I am working on my job to get outlets for electric cars. Their big going green campaign consisted of us clearing out our desks and removal of all the trash cans. Needless to say, I thought going green ment turning off every other light, increasing the temperature in summer, lowering it in winter, not a spring cleaning and then removal of trashcans.
I was invited to test a zap in SC, need a motorcycle license in va to drive it. The smart I have yet to test, but I am betting mercedes has leg room covered. Have not tried the volt either.
I may have a geo metro xfi with blown engine. I was going to make it electric. This is likely one of the roomiest economy cars I have ever sat in vs the vw diesel golf 85 year.
Going to rent a camry when my car goes to the shop next week. I tried a prius and yaris hact back and sedan. The prius my knee jammed the shifter. The hatch back yaris was tight, the sedan everything just felt out of place like the car was built on monster garage.
