Default Insurance Cost for an xA?

Alright,

I am thinking about getting a car this fall instead of waiting till the end of the year since I hate the car I currently have.

What are the insurance prices for 6 months for people in IL? What company are you with? How old are you? Whats your record? How much are your deductions?

Any help would help me get me my Scion xA faster.

Erik

you may want to go to progressive.com and try setting up a policy for your current car and the theoretical scion. may not give exact numbers, but at least will tell you if its more or less than your current setup. (i'm in missouri, so my rates won't help, but my 2005 xA is only a little more than my wife's 2000 Nissan Sentra both with full coverage.)

While I do not live in your state, I thought I'd offer my statistics to you. I live in Alaska, and I'm active duty military. My insurance company is Geico and I pay $878.80 per six months for full coverage with every possible box checked.

It really depends on where you live (Actually the address you give it to your insurance company)

For example, my father, licensed for over 14 yrs , Year 1995 Nissan Quest , still gotta pay 1K every 6 months. Since we're in nyc which has been known to have overpriced insurance.

Me? My xA ?
2000 something for 6 months, everything checked. Geico

Ha finally another Nordic Erik, 'bout damn time, ok anyway
Geico gives discounts for new cars. My wife and I on our xA is about $550 every 6 months, full coverage 100/300 with a $100 deduct and $2k rider on the stereo.
Get one you'll enjoy it
