Grats on the new xA!

I just rolled over to 10,000, and I didn't have my digital camera with me to take a picture of it. *sigh* I got mine end of October, and I am still giddy about getting into her!

Did you get manual or auto?

What made you decide on auto instead of manual?

I live part time in northern VT, and my commute is mostly hills...in a car with such low HP, I'd constantly be upshifting and downshifting- and I also will have to drive in adverse winter weather, and having a stick can help or hurt depending on the situation. I felt safer with an automatic since I'm a youngin and haven't had that much experience with a stick- and should anyone else need to borrow my car in an emergency, I'm pretty much guranteed that anyone could drive it.

so far the new addition is doing well...it's got one funny bobble in the shift from first to second while turning, so we're getting that fixed...otherwise, so far so good...getting almost 40mpg according to the GPS/performance software

i just bought my brand new 06 xa last wednesday and i love it. i paid cash so i can ruin my credit on interior mods. only prob is i'm wiring impaired. it seems randode is the place for ready to install, is it worth paying less and doing it yourself if you are a novice?

hey everyone,
didn't mean to put such a big question in the wrong place, just wated to say hi, and get the general consensus on what everyone else was into. i'm really excited about my new car, first time buying a vehicle with less than 80k on the ODO. i'm driving totally stock right now, so i've got no where to go but up. thanks for any replies...
