Woohoo!!! Just picked up my new Indigo Ink Blue xA at 3:00 today (with 3 miles on the odometer). Went to Pep Boys to buy a $55 Nikota Electric Impact Wrench, and 45 miles later, I'm riding on new TRD Springs, and a Progress Rear Swaybar. How's THAT for obsessive and impatient?

The springs have lowered the car nicely, and the ride is definitely firmer than the few corners I took in the first 40 miles. The rear swaybar - Holy Schmoly! The rear is flatter than a pancake now (well, almost). I can't wait to put on the ES endlinks for the front swaybar - does Scion really believe that *thing* is an endlink? Anyway, enough words - gotta drive!

Congrats on getting your xA, and I have to say if you put springs and the rear sway on it already imagine what it will be like at 5000 miles.

Hey Al,
Is ur XA a 5 speed? I ordered the same color with manual but it wont be at the shop until the 8th or 10th the dealer said. I have this reason to believe they might delay my order because of color and engine-type, an addition I'm adding dual moonroof.

Waitech I just got my manual IIP xA last week. It took about 3 weeks from whenI ordered it to when it arrived. At the time I ordered they said there were only two in the whole north east area. It seems pretty typical to have to wait a few weeks.

Waitech, my xA is a 5spd. I was lucky to locate one at the next state over (Utah) and have it shipped in one week.

Damn, it sucks about the long waits. I went to the dealership to look at the Scion xA's. Next thing I know, I'm driving home with an xA RS2. I guess I got lucky, because the next week, after the gas prices started getting crazy, there were none in sight. And from what i've been seeing, they can't keep them on the lot.
