Like they said, you never do that. I've heard you'll most likely never get all four the same length and it will lean.

My sister cut her springs on her 95 Tercel.

Wrecked it a week later when one of the springs popped out.

lol, you can get springs from about $100 and up. It's not a very expensive mod.

I'm sorry but I have to tell you that is a stupid question. What do you think will happen when you cut the springs? There are ZERO pros and a laundry list of cons. Think my friend think.

Correct, he's going to need coilovers to attain such a drop.

I'm sitting on Ksports now, dropped right around 3.5-4".

Sorry to butt in the convo and stray off topic, or maybe not.
To Zillion:
Is there a way you can provide a picture with Ksports?

^ Crazy. How do you not scrape your bumper off? Looks like if you go over the smallest speed bump you'll get hung up.

I had a friend who cut his springs on his 88 Accord and was slammed nice. The ride was crap though bouncing all over the place and the tires rubbed the fender liner every bounce. The springs on my cousin's Paseo are worse. Too much coil was cut and when we put on his replacement struts/shocks and lowered the car we could still spin the spring! He bought the car like that too, but with worn shocks it all looked ok, he's getting a legit setup though. The point is, DON'T DO IT!!! UNSAFE.

Cutting the springs is bad any way you go about it! What is more important, investing in $150 lowering springs, or loosing your egg?

no one needs to drop their xA 4 inches, you might want to but you will regret it.... I am bagged and I only drop about 5 inches and I cant even move the vehicle without scraping the ground... I only drive my vehicle about 20 miles a week...think before you do it.... take advice from someone that has had about 10 slammed rides...DONT DO IT!!! (unless you want to be at junkyard looking for new springs the next day)
