Default REAR LOWER TIE BAR FOR XA, DOES IT EVEN EXIST???

I cannot seem to find a rear lower tie bar anywhere! And why the hell are aftermarket Scion parts so expensive?! Even on ebay...

I believe that TRD makes one, but its not called a tie bar, its called a rear strut bar i think. But someone was selling one for the XB, just find the post & see if it will fit the XA.

Hey snake, notice a difference in handling or anything like that? Is it worth what you paid?

I bought the TRD rear suspension member brace from BTuned for my xA. The one BTuned is selling is for the Echo HB/Yaris/Vitz, but it fits on the xA (not the xB). Although, it does take a bit of hammering with a mallet to get the frame pieces on.

http://toyota-trd.jp/en/strt/s_mmbrbrace.html

Once installed, the brace is very stiff...stiffening the rear suspension. I only drove it for 20 minutes, but I noticed the car is more planted in turns and much more solid over bumps. It's so stiff that when I drove over a reflector, the rear gave out a cracking/torquing sound. I think it's a great upgrade for stiffening the rear.

I was planning on doing an install guide on it, but when my roommate went to transfer the pictures, the memory card was said to be unformatted. It must have gotten corrupted or something.
