Rear Sway your xA
WOW - what a difference a rear sway makes. I have an '06 xA, that I've lowered (and softened the ride) with Tein H-techs, and I'm rolling on some 16's. While at the Dealership for an oil change last night - I had them install the TRD rear sway bar (about $200 for the part and installation here in MN). My xA literally corners like it is on rails now! I look forward to each and every turn and clover leaf to and from work now. I just wanted to share with the rest of the xA Team that this is an upgrade everyone should make. IMMEDIATELY!

Ordered my Hotchkis rear sway bar from Sparks Toyota and can't wait to install, already dropped on TenzoR springs with 1.5in spacer on rear and 15mm on front plus Hotchkis front strut bar riding on stock steel wheels but changed out to the 195/60R15 tires by LeMans (look just like Fuzion HR)....

Yeah..
I'm working on installing my TRD bar hopefully this weekend. I bought it from Sparks Toyota, but believe it or not.. it didn't even come with installation hardware
, so just today I went out to my local hardware store and bought stainless-steel bolts/washers/nuts = about $10 ! I should contact Sparks to see if these TRD bars are supposed to include the hardware, or not !

Basically they're plates with nuts welded to them. You insert them into the rear swingarms, and then thread the bolts to attach the sway bar through the sway bar and into the nuts welded to the plates.

Gotcha on the inserts!
I just talked w/TRD today on the phone . The are shipping me out the hardware/parts- + inserts, for the anti-sway bar.. since neither that, or the instructions were not included in my box !!!!!

All three are excellent bars- the Progress + Hotchkis are probably a little better bang for the buck.
Bob Garner @ TRD hooked me up with the hardware that I needed to install the bar(actually TRD sparks did, but Bob facilitated it a bit) !! I did the install even without jacking up the rear of my car !!! I'm taking it out today for the first test-drive w/ it on!!! Cannot wait.

Totally one of the best mods for our cars. Do make sure that you check the mounting bolts after few weeks. Mine seemed to back off just a little at first. Since then they've been fine. Does make the car track really nicely in the turns!
