Some new info and feedback on using a xA as a rally car, look forward to meeting Chris and see what we can do after the S.E.R.T. xA gets back.

Had the chance to test it out in a small offroad section and the xA had spunk with those big a$$ Pirelli rally tires. With all the gravel and dirt flying everywhere it was a blast; still working on suspension pieces and for several runs looks like the stock suspension handled it not sure on how long they would last on a long distance course but I am sure we will find out before putting the new suspension on The lights work great at night, the exhaust connection is a weak link and we might have to either weld it or do a different flange connection that is stronger. Other than that everyting else is looking good.

Update looks like the S.E.R.T. team is at it again some quick updates:
No sleep for the wicked up at 5am in the morning to go test out a new suspension set up (more info to come)... The xA looks just as good in Tarmac setup! Just remove the qwick disconnect light pod and put on some J2 410's shoes with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa R compund rubber soles and she is ready for the track.
Here is a couple of pics of the suspension (sorry for the pics quality but it was late ) I think the preliminary specs was a 1.5” plus drop, 3 degree fixed negative camber, 6 way adjustable rear shocks and re-valved Major thanks to Progress Technology for the setup and tuning.

For those that were not able to see the HCI issue with the S.E.R.T. xA feature; Pirelli one of our sponsors on the project has posted a PDF file of the article that was scanned. Thanks again to our sponsors and HCI for the coverage!!

You guys have done an amazing job. I've always wanted to make my xA into a rally mobile, at least now I know it can be done.
you said you got the light pod from www.piaa.com. Did you guys have to special order it? Because for the life of me I can't find it on there site, or any where else on the internet.
And I won't lie...I'm trying to follow in your footsteps.
