What Color or K HID's to pick for my Fogs :)
So I want to get these for my fogs.
Here is a sample of what my headlights look like at 7K HID. Think I should go more blue for the fogs, more yellow or as white as I can to keep it consistent?
Or will it be a waist of $$. The xA has a great wide light with the HID but not very bright as I would like in front. Anyway it's an idea and I wanted to know what you thought.

When I see those strong yellow I dunno what to think. I am not sure if I think they look terrible or if they are pretty cool or what. Def. pretty obvious they are HID's and kind of asking for a fix it ticket.
I am definitely leaning toward an even look.

i have 5000K for low beams and 3000K for my fogs. the colors look nice i think. yellow works very well in the fog. too blue a color you wont see crap. i would rather go 4300K with my low beams and have a OEM color temp light then what i have now. too blue and they look ricey to me.
here is a not so great pic. but at night the HID fogs will help fill that "void" of light your looking for

firesquare so your suggesting a maybe 4-5K HID for my Fogs with my 7K headlights? Just checking. Sounds about right though.
It will be ALLOT better than my JDM NOKIA Fake HID bulbs in my fogs This pics don't show the lack real color match. the fogs have a greenish blue tint actually in the bulb.

well down in my neck of the woods im in a very foggy period from the end of December through January where visibility is less then 20 feet all night so im suggesting a 5000K for your fogs to contrast well. but the look i was going for was the old IS300 and LS400 where the low beams were hid and the fogs are yellow.
the higher the number of kelvin the lower the visibility you'll actually get. you can get away with 4300 k and it would look super clean but then the contrast wont go well with the blue 7000K
but all and all. keep them all the same color if that's the look you want to go for.
i just read what i wrote and it confused me too. sorry

no it's cool. I think yellow can be cool if the that is the kind of look one wants. I did want something different, but not so much to go so extreme since I like having a clean constant look like in my photos.
If I xA was white I would Def. do Yellow Fogs and red wheels
PS: the pics give you a good idea of what my HID's realy look like at 7K. You would think they were 5K.

go 3000K for the fogs. but i think either will color will look good. if you got $20 lying around buy a set of yellow bulbs and throw them in your fogs to see what they look like. that's what i did cuz i wasn't sure if i wanted the same temp HIDs for my fogs too. now that i see what the yellow looks like, i'll be sticking with that.

true, true. Can I get the yellow bulbs at Autozone or Pepboys? I see only oem or Silverstar h11's.
Keep in mind Mario you have a white car. The JDM style stuff comes easier to a white car than mine. I have to be a bit more picky in a way. I mean they dont actually even have a SRP iSt in Japan. If I have an RS1 xA than it would be more fitting to go yellow. But I will give it a try anyway.
Anyways I need to get the sleep. Gotta get up for school 6:30am..

i went to several autozones and did not see any yellow bulbs there. i ended finding mine at a mall.
i see your point with the color of the car...but i've seen yellow fogs on a buddy's SRP xB and it looks pretty good. like i said, if you can find the yellow bulbs for cheap, try them out.

I can do that but I think the cheapest I can find them easy is for $25 at Autobacs But I can just buy the Analog HID's for $50. Hmmmmmmm
I am also scared I am asking for a fit it ticket with the yellow HID's. They are soooo bright and obvious
